In a world where youth voices are often underrepresented, Ananya Shree stands as a shining example of courage, vision, and determination. Born in India on May 24, 2006, Ananya has grown into one of the youngest and most dynamic leaders of our time. Today, she serves as the Executive Director of the Global Union of Changemakers (GUC) a position she holds with both humility and unmatched dedication.

From an early age, Ananya demonstrated a passion for learning, advocacy, and global engagement. She has been actively involved in numerous prestigious international organizations, including QS Impact as an Ambassador, the Youth Network for a Transformative World (YNTW) as a member, and the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance as a fellow. Her work with the Youth Global Network further amplified her influence, allowing her to connect, collaborate, and innovate with changemakers from every corner of the globe.

Ananya’s dedication to youth empowerment is reflected in her participation in major global summits, including ECOSOC, the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2025, and ICARST IAEA 2025. At each event, she has brought forward fresh ideas, advocated for sustainable development, and represented the voices of young people with clarity and conviction.

But what truly sets Ananya apart is her role within the Global Union of Changemakers. As Executive Director, she is not just a leader; she is the strategic heartbeat of the organization. Her responsibilities span operations, strategic planning, and guidance of major initiatives across departments. She ensures that every branch of GUC works in harmony, empowering teams to collaborate effectively and drive impact worldwide.

Ananya’s leadership style is both visionary and inclusive. She believes that every voice deserves to be heard and every idea has the potential to grow. Under her guidance, GUC has expanded its presence globally, uniting young changemakers across nations and cultures to work toward common goals particularly the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Her personal vision encapsulates the essence of her work,
