As Risk Manager, Polyne plays a vital role in ensuring that GUC continues to operate smoothly across its international networks. She brings clarity, professionalism, and accountability to decision-making, helping the organization anticipate and respond to challenges before they arise. Her guidance supports both the Executive Team and the GUC Secret Council, ensuring the organization's strategies are grounded in responsibility and resilience.
Her commitment to teamwork is unwavering, she believes that collaboration is the foundation of leadership. Every success achieved under GUC’s global programs has been built upon the kind of unity and shared purpose that Polyne constantly promotes.
A Clinical Officer by profession, Polyne holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Class of 2022). Her medical background brings a disciplined, problem-solving mindset to her work within GUC.
She has served as Facility In-Charge at Jerusalem Medical Centre, Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine Coordinator, and Head of the Clinical Medicine Department at Navakholo KMTC, all roles that strengthened her leadership, management, and mentoring abilities.
In her country, she is also known the Founder of Kenya Health Tech Weekly, a newsletter that explores how technology, including AI, blockchain, and digital innovation, is reshaping healthcare in Kenya. This blend of science, technology, and leadership defines her as a changemaker ready for global impact.
Polyne’s work within GUC extends far beyond her title. She is a connector, someone who ensures that members from different continents, languages, and professions work together effectively.
