The Global Union of Changemakers (GUC) began as a vision inspired by the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2025, where over 700 young delegates gathered both virtually and in person. During the summit, passionate youth leaders shared ideas on how to create initiatives that would leave a lasting impact for generations. Out of these discussions, GUC was born—a global platform dedicated to connecting changemakers and supporting youth-led projects worldwide.
Led by Bogere Andrew from Uganda, the founding President, GUC’s leadership team includes committed changemakers from across the globe, including Ibrahim Wako Liban (Communications Director, Kenya), Nura Muhammad (HR Director, Nigeria), Shree Ananya (Executive Director, India), and Fatuma Maulid (National Director, Tanzania). Together, they are building a network that empowers young leaders to innovate, collaborate, and create meaningful change in their communities.
Currently, GUC is recruiting National Directors from all continents. This is a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to volunteer and play a key role in shaping the foundation of this global youth movement. As a National Director, you will lead initiatives in your country, collaborate with other leaders, and contribute to building a worldwide network of changemakers.
If you’re ready to join the movement, reach out to us through our social media handles to receive the official application form and become part of this exciting global initiative!
At GUC, we believe that when youth come together with vision and determination, ideas become action, and action creates a lasting impact for the future.
